This recipe is based off my original one I made years before I was actually schooled in aromatherapy, and it works. However, I have since changed the volume that I make at a time and increased the dilution to 1.5%.
I carry this in my purse and use it to spray our hands after coming out of every store once we’re back in the car. This has really helped keep the germs away!
Lea’s Hand Sanitizer Spray
In a 2 ounce fingertip sprayer (you can find these at Wal*Mart) add the following:
- 1 1/2 ounces (3 TBSP) witch hazel (you can use water)
- 2 tsp almond oil (or oil of your choice)
- 10 drops Tea Tree essential oil
- 8 drops Sweet Orange essential oil (or Lemon)
Shake well before spritzing on hands. Rub hands together to kill the germs. No need to rinse off.
