One question that gets asked on our facebook group a lot is “what diffuser do you recommend?” I hope this post will help you decide which one is best for you :)

Spa Vapor

The SpaVapor was the first diffuser I purchased, and has been running great ever since! I always run this with the lights on, as they are so pretty to look at, except if used during the night, then I shut off the lights. Runs quiet, lasting up to 5 hours. Two buttons on the front allow you to turn the power on/off as well as the lights. Cool mister uses no heat. Nozzle rotates all the way around so you can direct the vapor where you want. Auto-shut off when water gets too low. Does not make an noise (such as beep) when you push the buttons or when it automatically turns off.

Please note: some of the amazon reviews are not favorable, reflecting a previous model. Please ignore them! If you have any issues at all with yours, contact Greenair. I have spoken with the owner personally and they back their products 100% and will make it right!

USB diffuser

I love this little guy! This USB diffuser is parked right on my desk. I am not nervous about the possibility of it tipping over, as it has a rubberized seal. It has been bumped over once already, and I didn’t have to panic (whew!). Although this can run continuously, I usually set it to the 5 seconds on/5 seconds off setting. Although this diffuser is small, it holds a decent amount of water (as much as a SpaVapor) and lasts quite a while. The cord that comes with it has a USB end that also comes with a provided wall outlet plug. If your car has a USB outlet, you could totally use this in your car as well. Auto-shut off when water gets too low. Does not make an noise (such as beep) when you push the buttons or when it automatically turns off. Cord is 3.5 feet long.

As with all Greenair diffusers, the owner personally told me they back their products 100%! If you are not satisfied, contact them.

Aroma Mister

I currently have my Aroma Mister running with Coffee EO in it (yum!). I like that this one will run up to 8 hours and is only a little bigger in size than the SpaVapor. I also like that I can choose the color that is featured when I have the lights on :) Auto-shut off when water gets too low. Does not make an noise (such as beep) when you push the buttons or when it automatically turns off.

As with all Greenair diffusers, the owner personally told me they back their products 100%! If you are not satisfied, contact them.

Zen Serenity

If pretty lights don’t interest you, and quiet is of the utmost importance, the Zen Serenity is probably the diffuser for you. There is a small blue circle of light around the button indicating the power is on. If you would like, you can push the button on again and a very faint night light will glow out of the top. This diffuser has a small footprint and is quieter than the others (and the others are very quiet!). Cool vapors drift out a little more gently than in the other Greenair diffusers. Auto-shut off when water gets too low. Does not make an noise (such as beep) when you push the buttons or when it automatically turns off.

As with all Greenair diffusers, the owner personally told me they back their products 100%! If you are not satisfied, contact them.

Hubmar Classic

This is the only one out of the bunch that is not a Greenair. This was sent to me by my good friend Ann of Wingsets and can also be found on amazon. This diffuser may not last as long as some of the others here on my list, and it may not cover the most sq. feet, but it does have the best timer control options:

  • continuous (auto shut-off when water level drops too low)
  • continuous for 2 hours
  • 5 seconds on, 40 seconds off
  • 15 seconds on, 50 seconds off
  • 30 minutes on, 15 minutes off

The drawback is that it does “beep” when you push the buttons and when the unit is too low and automatically shuts off. Not the best choice for a bedroom.

There is also three settings for intensity (low, medium, high), as well as a light on/off switch.

NebAir

I saved the NebAir for last, as it is so different from the others in the bunch. It doesn’t use water, but pure essential oils! This can be used in a small area with mold, or even as an alternative to steamy hot water inhalation for kids. You can read my full review here: NebAir review. Does not make an noise (such as beep) when you push the buttons or when it automatically turns off.

As with all Greenair diffusers, the owner personally told me they back their products 100%! If you are not satisfied, contact them.

So there you have it! I hope this helps you figure out which one to go for. Or perhaps, they all look good and you will have to acquire then one at a time :D

Stay tuned for more to be added to this list….Greenair is coming out with more new diffusers soon, and I will be reviewing them and giving some away!
